As salaam alaikum warah mutalahi wa barakatuh…… I live with family but I am the head of my household at the moment as I do not have a husband. I have been a muslimah for just over nine years now alhamdulillah and my life changed for the better when I embraced Islam alhamdulillah. I have been married two times, once before I was a muslimah and once after I became a muslimah . Neither of these marriages worked out well for me but alhamdulillah for all. Life is short and I would really like to experience a good Islamic marriage before I become old inn sha Allah. I adopted my son 12 years ago when he was a new born baby and I hope to find a good husband to be a good Islamic role model and example for him inn sha Allah, My adopted son, who is my blood relation, has no father to guide him, I have been trying to raise him and teach him in the most good ways inn sha Allah but there are things a boy needs to learn from a man too inn sha Allah. My daughter from my first marriage is an adult, she is not muslimah yet but inn sha Allah she will be one day. I also have an uncle who lives with me. He lived with my mother first, but when she died he had no other place to go so he came to live with me. The only other family members who live with me are my son’s 2 rabbits. Majoratively, I listen to Mufti Menk from Zimbabwe. Mufti Menk makes things easy to understand and I have learned a lot of what I know from him alhamdulillah. I am a big lady but hygiene and cleanliness is very important to me and I do not like bad smells. Physicality in marriage would not be easy for me as my health has not been good for some time now but alhamdulillah for all. However, I know what a wife’s duty is Islamically and I would give my best effort to fulfill my duty as a wife inn sha Allah. I am not what would be considered beautiful, but I have a strong imaan alhamdulillah. I am not rich with money but Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has provided me with enough to take care of myself and my family alhamdulillah. I try to follow the sunnah of our beloved prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and I would never leave home without wearing my hijab and being modestly covered inn sha Allah. My goals in life are to be a better muslimah, to be a better mother and good wife inn sha Allah. My favourite colour is olive green and my favourite country is Africa. My favourite food is very mild chicken curry and I would like to go on a Kenyan safari one day inn sha Allah. I think I have a funny sense of humour but I do not like jokes that are not of a clean nature. Manners are important to me and after Allah, my family means everything to me.

Inn sha Allah, I would like to find a husband who truly loves Allah and his goal is to be the best muslim he can be. I am not rich and any money I do have is for my family, myself and zakat. I know my rights as a musllim woman and I say this because I have been taken advantage of before, and inn sha Allah I will never allow that to happen again. I will not marry someone for visa purposes or to provide them with an income. I can be generous with what I have, but only to the right people that are halal for me to be generous to inn sha Allah. I am looking for a kind and understanding muslim man who wants to join a loving family, a man who is family minded. Equally, I would be very interested in building closeness with my husband’s family members too inn sha Allah. I would prefer to marry a man of black ethnicity. My intention is not meaning to be racist, as if Allah plans for me to marry someone white or whatever, then alhamdulillah for all Allah plans. It is just that I lived in Birmingham some years ago and found the black people there to be kinder and more accepting of me than the white people, so now I just naturally feel comfortable with black people. I am looking for someone who I can be married to for whatever lifetime I have left that Allah has planned for me inn sha Allah, someone I can grow in knowledge with and someone I can grow old with and eventually be in Jannah with inn sha Allah. I am not young but I do not consider myself to be old so I am looking for someone mature with a similar outlook on life as I have inn sha Allah. I appreciate good manners and old fashioned values, so inn sha Allah the man I am looking for would also have good manners and would be respectful to women. I like the old ways but I do see that some of the new ways can be good too, as long as they are halal inn sha Allah. I am not looking for a rich man, as the only thing I ask is that my husband can take care of himself for food and clothing and anything else inn sha Allah. Allah has provided me with enough to take care of my children, myself and zakat alhamdulillah. Money does not interest me, only that I have enough to take care of my family, myself and our zakat and alhamdulillah Allah has provided me with all I need for this already, I am interested more in the character of my husband inn sha Allah.
