Bismillahi a rahmani rahmani raheem Wa sallahu ala nabiyina muhammed I would describe myself (May Allah forgive me if this is not true) as a practicing, kind, quiet, loving, understanding, and easy person to get along with. I graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia alhamdulila a number of years ago. Following that I worked at a masjid, an Arabic language instuate as well as an Islamic Primary school as a teaching assistant. Following that I worked at a state Academy. I try to help out local Islamic events at one of my local masjid. As of the past few years I have worked in the IT sector in providing support to schools.I am currently working as an IT-Technician for a state SEN school. I read at least a juz a day (i know I should read more) and I try to revise and expand on what I have already studied. I’m single and I have NEVER BEEN in any relationship before, I was born and I grew up in London but originally from Mauritius. I’m currently living with my parents and my one brother.
I do have a beard. Tall wise I’m 5’4 . In terms of my future goals inshalla, I am currently self-studying in preparation for a CCNA. I would like to progress as network engineer. I am not career orientated, however I do view it as a means of helping to provide for my family inshallah.
I am looking for a sister who is practising and steadfast. What I mean by practising, is someone who at least tries relatively to their best ability to please Allah by firstly carrying out what’s obligatory upon her ( five prayers, zakat, etc) and then tries to do extra good deeds seek knowledge, read and memorise the Quran. Someone who wears hijab. A sister who is kind, soft, understanding. What I mean by understanding a sister who understands my disposition as someone who works in IT. That is not to say I’m not going to be able to spend any time with my wife far being from the truth. Inshala I will spend time with my wife in fact I would like to spend all my time with my wife. For the sisters who are not ‘practising’ I do not think of myself better than anyone else. Imam shaafi said ‘ ….you shouldn’t meet with someone except that you think that they’re better than you.’ But in essence I need to marry someone who is on the same ‘ wavelength’ as I am. So don’t be sad if I turn you down. Also please don’t approach me unless you understand the full reality of marriage. I’ve been approached before by sisters who in truth were driven by their feelings without considering the implications of marriage. With regards to racial background I’m open to any ethnic background. All communication should be through your wali..
But please make sure your family are okay with marrying someone who is of a different ethnicity than yourself (I’m saying this because this has been an issue in the past). Nor am I looking at a long distance relationship. You will need to note due to work purposes I will be looking to move around. May Allah guide us in our decision. amin! Note I tend to login on the weekends.
